Here's a rundown of this tweak, tested with an Axim X51v:
RAM free before tweak: 23.1 MB
RAM after full tweak: 23.0 MB
Problems with tweak: none
Noticeable difference: YES! I have seen a significant speed boost in screen redraw, particularly when switching between portrait and landscape, but also just when starting programs in general. The 0.1 MB loss of memory is nothing. I'd recommend this to anyone who wants a more responsive system.
