Replace Battery indicator with Time on Today screen Task Bar

Is there a way to replace the useless battery indicator in the Today Task Bar with soomething more useful like the time. I know that you can tweak the Registry to have the replacement occur when running applications but I have not yet found a way of doing the same on the today scree.

And before it is mentioned, yes you can have date and time displayed on the Today screen but I need the real estate and as previously stated IMHO the Battery indicator is next to useless.

Try this hack, I found it here on AximSite and works great for me :approve:

Clock (vs. Battery) ROM A12

Launch TotalCommander, then tap on the "\\". You will find this at the top of the directory in the root of your PPC.

Then tap on "registry" to get into the registry. Tap "HKLM", then "Software", then "Microsoft", then "Shell".

Scroll to the very bottom and tap on the "+Add value+". A dialog box will open up. Name it "ShowTitleBarClock" (no quotes), then make it a DWORD, and give it a value of 1 (Decimal).

Hi there, and thank you very much for taking the trouble to post back. The hack worked like a charm and I now have what I want. Strange that none of the companies making Today-related applications have not cottoned on to this one.

Thanks again!:approve:
