My WM5 start menu has a 1 sec lag when I press it on it.
Do anyone else experience this? or is this just normal?
As I recall from my wife's older ipaq with wm2003, it was quite snappy.
If there's a fix, it would be awsome

Mine has the same lag. It's just about a sec. It was slightly faster before I loaded any programs. Still plenty fast for me. Haven't heard of any solutions/hacks to speed it up though.

This might help a bit
* Get a registry editor
* Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\GWE\Menu
* Change the registry value AniType to 0 (zero).
* Soft reset/reboot.

I've got no lag whatsoever and my BIS is stuffed with installed programs (as in completely full).

it feels a bit faster... about 0.5 sec can't really test this scientifically.

I tried that using BreakSoft's Mobile Registry Editor 1.1 but got an "Error Setting value...Access Denied" error. I know I've used this before in removing some nonexistant/uninstalled program keys in the past, so I wonder why it would be complaining now.

what rom version are u using? cause on my x51v with a12 i have no lag whatsoever.
