Mmmm....
Before deleting anything on your pc or hard resets, try:
- As cchiang12 indicates, check the USB connection and use a primary port not a hub
- Check that you have plenty of memory on the device and the pc
- If your firewall updates automatically, check that the permissions for AS have not been changed.
- Check that you have not changed your Regional Settings on the Axim
- Try a soft reset on the Axim before you cradle the device
You indicate that when you establish a connection, everything syncs - can you back up? It sounds as if AS is hanging on the pda or some other software is not closing properly: if you can back up, do so and then
hard reset the device (AS seems to be ok on the pc) and reinstall your applications one-by-one (checking to make sure that you can sync between each install).
You can use the backup to restore the pda if necessary.
