Hello to you all, maybe somone can send me in the right direction.
After installing and then removing a third party application after it kept crashing I find that there is a icon still in the Start | Progams folder for my deleted app and also in the Settings | Menu list.
If I tap it it responds app cannot be opened, too true but how can I get rid of the icon. I'm guessing it's in the Registry somewhere.
Any links free tools to help me remove it would be appreciated

Use the Explore feature of ActiveSync and navigate to Windows>Start Menu>(probably)Programs and delete the "application name".lnk file. That will remove it.

You will probably need to do more than that install memaid or sktools and use them to clean your device of orphaned registry, dll (dynamic Link Library files) and .lnk files. :approve:
