Flight mode

Hello,

I have a question about x51v's "flight mode". For some reason when I turn off WiFi and BT, the message that pops up when pressing networking shorcut or how to call it (the one near the clok) says: "Turn off flight mode". If I press that BT and WiFi turns on. What is that flight mode used for?

By the way, why after soft-reset x51v tries to connect to wifi network even though wlan utility is set to gave WiFi off

Look at the bottom of the page under 'similar threads' and you'll find the explaination.

Yes, but there is not the problem about after-reset autoconect... (when I reset the device it tries to connect automatically even though the BT and WiFi are off). people say that they just enable wifi and then turn it off again, but it is quite annoyng :) I guess axim shouldn't do that...
Anyways, thanks, ikehiker

It's likely some software you've installed that loads automatically and is trying to connect to update.

Thank You very much. I guess I will need to uninstall them one by one and see which one is causing so much problems :(
