WM5.0 vs Bluetooth Headset

After much careful consideration I've chosen this Forum for my post, but I could be wrong, so move if so mods, thanks.

Just ordered a PDA (Dell Axim™ X51v-624 MHz). It has WM5.0 aswell as bluetooth, and wireless technologies integrated.
To cut a long story short I hope to use this as a portable SKYPE device aswell as other things.

I've been looking to get a bluetooth headset that's compatible and have found loads of info that basically says that WM5.0 does not fully support pairing with a bluetooth device for audio playback, specifically for use as a SKYPE headset.

I did note that these webpages were at least a year old, so Microsoft may have solved this issue, but am wondering if any one has any experience with this and if so can let me know.

Many thanks,
Cian

No, microsoft has not fixed anything period. But there are 3rd party driver you could install to make thing better. I personally do not use SKYPE, so do not know anything about that, but did came across some posts about making skype work on your axim while I was searching for info on how to make A2DP profile work on my Axim, so search the site.
Might want to start by reading the sticky about widcomm bluetooth stack, it helped me a lot.

Yes the Widcomm BT stack will have an option for easy pairing.
I use a Plantronics 655 explorer headset with Skype In/Out just fine now.
Its just getting BT keyboards & mice to play nice between opposing drivers.
