And you shouldn't have to do all that to keep your computer running. On a Mac you don't scan for spyware, or defrage your hard drive. And you don't scan a registry.
And Matt (FYI, names are capitalized) Every Mac i've ever owned had superior build quality compared to any other PC.
The Mac Pro, and MacBook Pro are solid aluminum.

hard drive gets defragmented not matter what os u use (i do not care about capitalizations and spelling as a matter of fact). and the mac i owned was the last version of ibook G4 - its built quality was very poor. and don't forget that solid aluminium bends. yes in mac u don't need to check registry but my point was about windows XP and not mac. yes mac doesn't need spyware but so what... I use spyware once a month - not a big deal. and yes if you really do some reading you will find out that hard drives slow down when they are full.
