Which NetFront or other browser?

My new X51v should be delivered tomorrow and I need a good browser. I see from the sticky that NetFront 3.2 is not compatible with WM5 but what about NetFront 3.3 or 3.4? Neither are on the sticky.

Anyone got any advice? Which browser is best-of-breed?

Thanks

Yes, 3.3 and 3.4 are.

If your thinking about buying, 3.4 is in beta still. You can try it out, but i wouldn't buy 3.3, id just wait until 3.4 is out.

First of all, to aximsite and congrats on your new baby! you are in for a real treat!

Browser likes and dislikes are are personal as your homepage.

I personally like the feel of Opera, but it did not play nice with some enterprise server security and some banking sites that I need. IE was just fine with the security certificates, but I missed the tabs. I ended up with Netfront 3.3 and will prolly stay until I have to make a cost upgrade decision.

I haven't tried minimo, but am hoping by the time I have to shell out some more green, it will be all polished up and ready for prime time.

I'm sure others will chime in. Also check out Menneisyys' excellent round up on the subject. I'm sure a sight search will bring it up.

Finally, Opera and Netfront have trials. Netfront's is somewhat crippled , but you will at least get to play with it's interface.

Again, welcome to aximsite!

Thanks for the welcome! I see that TextMaker is not in the sticky either! Is it compatible with WM5? Just how comprehensive is the sticky?

TextMaker works well with WM5. I like NetFront because it's Java support opens the sites I am trying to use where Opera did not for me but I prefered the look and feel of Opera and it ran faster. You can click individual user's "MyPDA" and see what is working for them also. No list of compatable programs is going to be complete.
