How do I sync norwegian PIM from norwegian WM5 to English WM5

Well, the subject tells it all.

I have a HTC P3600 with Norwegian WM5. This is a device I'm not alowed to take with me to the platform I work on in the Norwegian north sea.

Because of that I want to sync the norwegian pim database to my Dell Axim X51v which has en english version of WM5.

I've tried to just copy the file, but then the dell will not open the contact database at all, so I guess english WM5 doesn't recognise the norwegian pim-file.

Anyone know how I can do this?

Yes, I have experience with this. In order to restore the backup you must set the Locale and language to the way they were on the machine that created the backup. Thus, either set your Norwegian machine to English/UK before backing up, or temporarily set the new machine to Norwegian/NR to restore the backup.

Both devices has the regional settings set to Norwegian. Still doesn't work.

But have in mind that I have just copied the PIM-file, I haven't created a backup-file of any sort. My HTC phone have no backup utility.
