I have had my AXIM X51v less than a month. I can continue using Outlook because it can easily sync with my PDA , but are there other choices out there? For example, can anything sync with Firebird's address book?

There's FinchSync, which can sync with Thunderbird's (I don't think I've heard of firebird...) address book. I don't use it frequently myself, but it works via a PDA client and a PC server setup.
