Media Player Vista Skin? Wont Work?
Hello,

I found this....

its a nice looking vista skin for the WMP, however, its been stated in that page that it hasnt worked with the x51v (as well as some other devices)

Anyone know why this is?

I copied the folder to my program files/windows media player folder, to no avail...

For the X51V, make sure you have a vga skin. For example, xcilion has a vista skin pack that includes a wmp skin. It comes in both vga and qvga.

thanks for pointing me in the right direction, however, i believe whatever links they were pointed to are no longer valid, so i cant even download his skin pack anymore....

No problem. It's one of the nicer free skins available for wmp. It's also nice that it comes in portrait and landscape.

Doesnt you media player search for skins? i had mine on a CF card and it found it.
