Activesync via Bluetooth - What speed are you guys getting?

I managed to pair up my X51v A12 Widcomm stack with my PC using BT2.0 USB dongle but I'm getting less than 100kB/s transfer speed. Is this normal? What speed are you guys getting?

130 kbps on a non USB2 dongle. Good enough for watching movies encoded to 100 kbps over the network.

The Axim is a Bluetooth 1.1 device and as such is limited to a theoretical maximum of 768kbps. Many devices are not capable of this speed and so your speeds between devices can be anywhere from 10kB/s to 80kB/s.

To answer your question: Yes, what you are getting is about right.

-=Edit=-

Sorry, just read the spec and it says up to 1Mbps for BT1.2 devices, up to 3Mbps for BT2.0(EDR) devices.

You are still getting about the best speed you can, 1Mbps is approximately 100-120kB/s...

The X51V is a bluetooth 1.2 device, and as mentioned has a theoretical transfer speed of 1Mbps or 1000Kbps or 125 kB/s. That's not bad considering that it is 1/3 the speed of an average cable connection.
