exe files cannot be opened

I am on my 2nd Axim 51v replacement and after 5 hard resets wish I had never 'upgraded' from the reliable Axim 30, I had previously.

I can install all my programs, Tomtom 5, mobipocket, Pocket Stars to my CF card. All work perfectly - until I switch off the axim. When it switches on again, the shortcuts to the above programs do not work. When I go into Programs and start from there, I get the following message:

The file 'Tom Tom Navigator (or whatever program I am opening) cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate or one of its components cannot be found. You might need to reinstall or restore this file.'

Can anyone help! Dell are of no assistance whatsoever.

Any chance that you can try a different CF card in the Axim? As it is programs on the card, it sounds a lot like a reading error.

It sounds like the problem "disappearing CF card".
See this thread http://www.aximsite.com/boards/showt...appearing+card

Hope it helps!

I think that Windows Mobile 6 might be alot more stable then any of the others, and if not it has an online update ability.
