Why do you need a screensaver? It's just wasting battery when you can just press the standby button to switch the unit off and save the screen that way. I know that the unit is kept on when in the cradle, but LCD screens don't have the same burn-in issues that CRT screens did so a screen saver is not as necessary.

If you prefer to switch the screen off when in cradle I recommend getting a copy of psShutXP, after it is first run you get an extra program "Display Switch" which will switch off the screen when run and can be assigned to a hardware key.

Thank you Andre and Mokubai. I downloaded psShutXP and it seems to work fine. Having the screen completely shut off is a nice feature.

I use one just as a novelty for when the PPC is in the cradle. The program is called Pocket Candy and I'm using the Matrix screen saver. The links to the programs are in MyPDA. It works really well but isn't terribley useful.
