Question Help getting java installed or period, its very difficult.

Getting this on a Palm is easy, you just claim to have a T5 or LD and voila you have java on your PDA (Palm OS).

Windows Mobile, not so simple and I am beating my brain out in the attempt.\

I follow the link in Borgman's freeware and got caught up in a forever long signup and a never ending download of "?" not even sure if it is a java cab or exe but I get this little window with a cup (java logo) that'll load for 45minutes and fail.

A long story short I need the Java .cab in the easiest way possible I don't care if you zip it and email it to me that'd be good too. I find it rediculous that it is near impossible to get it from the site itself, successfully...

For anyone that has it or has gotten it with success, I could use your help.

Oh BTW, I'm using a X51v (WM5)...

Have a look at the following thread, I'm assuming you want this for Java Midlets... Java does not work in Internet Explorer or Opera on Windows Mobile.

Netfront includes a JAVA engine with its browser. Works nicely.

Netfront's implementation of JAVA is not related in any way to IBM's engine. It's incorporated in Netfront's commercially available browser.
