How do I get Bluetooth to startup automatically?

I know this has been asked many times before but so far none of the solutions I've read have worked for me. I read a lot of stuff about Flight Mode preventing BT from working, and I know what it is, but I have no idea WHERE to find that setting on my x51v.
ALso I tried sticking a file in my StartUp that was part of a set of tools - the file was called BTON.exe. It didn't work.

I have the latest version of skSchema which is great for forcing things to occur at different times and triggered by different things. Someone here helped me enter a script that enabled me to have Textmaker automatically rotate to Landscape, then back to Portrait after closing Textmaker - but even that fairly simple script made my head spin.

If anyone knows how I would use skSchema to activate Bluetooth upon startup, any assistance would be much appreciated!
Or if there's a simpler way to do it, I'd love to hear it. And I suppose I should begin by finding out where the Flight Mode setting is....
Thanks in advance...!

Actually, a tutorial on how to assign bluetooth functionality to only certain programs using skSchema, which I have, or oZBT (which I read about but cannot find anywhere to download) would be the best thing for the long term...

Any help would be profoundly appreciated thanks!

If BT is on when you turn off or reset your Ax it will start up again automatically. If it is off then it will stay off.
If you tap the little x with the two arrows on the top tool bar it will open a pop up Called Conectivity which allows you to turn flight mode on or off.

That's probably how it should be, but no. If my bluetooth is enabled before I soft reset, it's disabled afterwards. It wasn't like that in WM2003SE (recently upgraded to x51v) but it's like that for me in WM5. That's what I can't figure out...

i've gotten somewhat proficient (i.e. beginner) in making scripts with MortScript. I was able to create a script that would check if bluetooth would be on, if it was not on, it would activate it.

I'm sure it would be fairly simple to write a script that would start upon soft reset and would turn bluetooth on. I think you would just have to put it in the 2557 folder.

Let me know if you want a global BT on upon soft reset, or for particular programs.

I MIGHT be able to help :-)

**would require downloading mortscript **

I'm extremely interested in this script, specifically how to use MortScript to detect if Bluetooth is enabled. :)

Skinners, Dell has not stopped supporting the Axim X51v there is no need to port to the Palm in fear of that. :)
Dell has only stopped producing the Axim.

If you sync Palm with Microsoft Outlook instead of "Palm Desktop" you can move your information over to any PDA.
