DST screwed up all my appointmentS!!!

ok i hate this stupid DST thing...

I sync with two computers, one at work one at home with Axim X51v WM5.0

Work: Windows 2000 + Outlook 2003 + ActiveSync 4.1
Home: XP Home + Outlook 2002 + ActiveSync 4.5

Now XP automatically updates the time, but not 2000. So after reading a few posts here, I updated to AS4.5, and applied the DST patch to my axim 51v at home. At work, since there is no patch, I had to use some unoffical 2000 patch to fix the time. Now my work time is fine.

The problem is, all my appointments are screwed up. The full day events span over two days. My appointments are one hour late.

I applied the outlook tzmove.exe file, and it fixes it for a while. The thing is, since I sync with two computers, the time on my work is fine, but not home. When i fix the time at home, the work times are all screwd up.

How can I fix this so that all appointments are in the correct times, both home and work???? Thx in advance.

Have you updated Windows 2000 with the new DST definition?

Read the Windows 2000 section on this page:

http://support.microsoft.com/gp/dst_topissues#A5

Microsoft recommends the use of a manually edited time zone entry for products that are "outside Mainstream support."

Quote:
All versions of Windows can be manually updated using the tzedit.exe utility or other techniques documented in Knowledge Base article 914387, Online Webcast 930688, and similar articles for other countries, which is the preferred method of remediation for any product outside of Mainstream Support. (The tzedit.exe tool allows you to create and edit time zone entries for the Date/Time settings in the Control Panel, especially for daylight-saving time).
