Question Active Sync changes Axim's time?

I have a very annoying problem.

Everytime when ActiveSync synchronizes, my Axim (X51v) changes the time two hours ahead. The time in the computer is correct, yet the time in the Axim keeps moving up.

I have installed the patch for DST in the Axim, and I even updated Active Sync to 4.5, yet I cannot seem to find a fix.

I do not recall installing anything in windows before, and everything was working fine with the update. Only now that I reinstalled Windows this problem came up.

I'm out of ideas.

This is almost always due to DST and/or time zone settings. Make sure both the PC and Axim are set to the same time zone (on the Axim, Start, Settings, System (tab), Clock & Alarms. On the PC, double click on the time in the lower right). In the past, people have also had problems when the PC was not set to automatically change to DST,

Thank you! Such a slight oversight.

Having lived in California for over 10 years , I didn't even bother to change the time zone in the computer.

I was stuck thinking it had to do with DST settings.

:)
