I've recently updated my x50v Windows 2003SE to Windows Mobile 5 (A01). I haven't had the chance to use it as such, but Is there an updated version to cure all of these bugs I've been reading about?

Yes, there is an update, as mentioned above, but it may not fix all of your problems.
