I downloaded onto my Axim X51v this program from a free CD that had this information on it: http://biblestudy.churches.net/CCEL/FATHERS2/INDEX.HTM, plus the following: http://www.tertullian.org/fathers/. This is what I bought (the second CD and got the first CD free): http://www.tertullian.org/fathers/al...hers_on_cd.htm.

I also downloaded all the fonts so that the text would not be gobbly-gook (if you know what I mean). This is what I downloaded: http://www.tertullian.org/support/

With all that said, the "My Info" is now showing up in Greek - using the SPIONIC font which I just downloaded.

How can I keep the fonts on my AX, but make the "My Info" in an English font (I do not care which one).

I know that this is a long shot, but if anyone can help me - it would be wonderful.

I asked the same type of question as my first post on this site, but somehow I answered it myself, overtime. For the life of me, I cannot remember what I did to get it back to normal. All the things that I did then, don't work now.

Hi,
Move the fonts to the windows directory instead the windows/font directory, soft reset your unit and you'll be able to use the fonts and your info will show with the right font.

Can I put them in another folder within the Window folder, or do they have to be lose within the folder. Not that it matters, but if I need to find a particular font (down the road), it would be nice to be able to find it without scrolling to whole length of A-Z within the Windows folder. Can I call it another name, other than FONTS?

I've never tried in other folder than windows\fonts or windows, no harm trying anyway.......:D

I tried, but no it does not work.

Do you know the reason why this happens? Is it a particular type of font that triggers this effect on the "My Info" screen?

Does anyone else know another way to fix this problem. I really do not want all my new fonts interspersed within the Windows folder. It works for now, but I would like a better fix.

I thought to myself, well, I'll put in other fonts that would look good as a new "My Info", but when I wanted it to change, is does not change.

You can use Font on Storage to keep your fonts on a storage card (SD / CF).
