I own the latest version of Resco Explorer Plus since Christmas, and lately began to have trouble with my themes. I could not change my screen themes anymore. I look this issue up and was told that updating to Resco 2007 would likely solve the problem. I followed the directions on the Resco website for WM5 owners and deleted the actual folders on my SD "Program Files". Since then, I can boot up, connect via active sync, attempt to install programs . . .etc. but the touch screen and ALL buttons are completely non-responsive. I cannot install because that requires choosing "device" or "network" installation. I attempted using Active sync "explorer" to delete the "network" folder in hopes that it would automatically install to the only location available, but it locks on a screen asking me for a password which I cannot enter due to the locked screen. I tried resetting the device to the factory settings - but I cannot because even that requires that I confirm by pressing one of the physical buttons on my Axim x51v. What can I do? I would alter my startup folder and/or manually install the resco update, but i have no idea where to place the files. I am not even sure that such action would fix this problem.

PLEASE HELP.

Unfortuneately it isn't that easy - the device is not locked. I appreciate the post though.

Any other ideas?

PS: It did have moment of activity yesterday where screen commnads worked just before lapsing back into a comma, so I'm pretty sure it's okay, I just can't figure out why I cannot get it to respond again.

I figured it out. On the back of your Axim x51v, there are rubber pads. If you are looking at the back, the upper right pad has a white puddy filled hole. I started pressing it with the stylus and presto - my device unlocked.
