Hi

As I'm disabled visually I prefer my display scheme on PC's, LCD watch's, Opera / IE7 to be set to "Accessibility mode" which normally black background, white text. So, you've guessed it, how do I do this on my Dell x51v? Are there any themes that you software developers / Desktop publishers can point me too?

As a Treehugger I'm sure you don't need me to tell you that these display settings "save battery life", something we all need in our portable devices!

So how about it, who's the daddy on ThemeGen CE, do get me started, as any help appreciated?

I use a black background myself, created with PhotoShop and set with Resco. I changed the text colors with PocketBreeze and Tweaks2K2.net.

....so can I plagie your work, please via an .exe?

The WoW starts here, [not with Vista]! I'm humbled as my desktop isn't even as good os your today screen. Those icons look like the would upscale on XP to 42, go hiRes, are they .pna or .icon files, your webpage seems to be missing the links to the other stuff you mention like icons etc?

I'm off to purchase PocketBreeze and Tweaks2K2.net, are they the minimum I need pr do I need iLauncher as well?

If I recall correctly, I used Tweaks2K2.net to change the color of the top and bottom bars to black and to change the text on those bars to non-black.

The icons should be under the "Other Items of Interest" page.

Feel free to download the black background (it is just a 640X588 .jpg). Again, if I recall correctly, I used Resco Photo Viewer to set it as the background image.

Be aware that these changes do not alter other applications; only the today screen. Applications such as PIE or NetFront would require other, tbd, changes.
