Haven't been able to find any info on whether or not the new OS will be compatible with prior versions of AS; after reading some of the negative aspects of AS 4.0 I'm questioning the value of doing the OS upgrade only to lose some of the functionality of AS 3.8 . If anybody can clarify this for me I'd really appreciate it.

From the information I have seen I believe that WM5 will ONLY be compatible with AS4.0 (and above) sorry. So you won't be able to keep AS3.8 and use WM5.

Thanks Rob, so I guess if I want to use the new OS my only option for remote syncing will be to buy a Bluetooth adapter for my desktop then? Leave it to M$ to mess up a beautiful thing in the name of progress.
