Regards
I would say sometime in August. HP has to do their tweaks as well as internal testing.

No chance at all. The hardware itself will not support the new functions of the OS, mainly the memory management.

It most likely will be a CD. That's a good way for HP to control things.

I remember Dell had an upgrade for the X5 that was downloadable and for some reason everyone was able to get it for free. Don't remember the exact circumstances but you had to get the upgrade on CD after that.

Hi ukbilleh. There was a post yesterday that indicated HP would come out with the English upgrade first, followed by other languages sometime afterwards. I know we're "two countries seperated by a common language" but I would think there will be only one English upgrade out there.

swhoutx035...I was thinking the same thing. When the English version comes out, England/British could get theirs too. Either way...us over here in USA will be the ones testing the "beta" version...LOL...considering it won't have been run in an operational environment.

That's how it always happens...send out a new piece of software...it crashes millions of devices...company fixes problems and releases all other languages fixed. LOL
