Hard reset possible?!

Hey guys,

It just hit me,
we saied that the new WM5.0 will use the ROM thus data will not be lost when hard reset.
one of the best things about WM2003SE is that i am able to reset the system to the very starting point when the system is damaged due to some software uninstall or what so ever (almost always possible).
I will be able to hard reset to delete wipe out ALL that did not belong there before.

will this be possible with the new system?

I believe that what they meant was that no data would be lost in the event of power loss. I'm sure it will still be able to hard reset. It would be pointless to remove this feature, not to mention very stupid.

Hunter I am sure that there will be a routine to get your device in its 'fresh out of the box' configuration - just as there is now.

aximbigfan - how many of those sd cards would you expect to get lost?

sure glad to hear ...
SD card is a bad idea - i would probably format that 256 card and use it for other things

but correct me if i am wrong, even the WM2003SE is not supplied on a SD or CD ... so if you realy mess with your system you are soooo very stuck!
