WM 5.0 on iPAQ 6315/6365

I was wondering if is it possible to have Windows Mobile 5.0 on an iPAQ 6315/6365. I checked with this website.

However, I just don't get it why HP doesn't want to offer an upgrade for iPAQ 6315/6365. It is also a rather new model.

I'm new here so sorry if this has been discussed before

I don't think it even got 2003SE upgrade, even the new 6500 series is supposed to come out with "only" SE.

WM5.0 will not be offered for it. It's really not about how new the model is; it is all about if WM5.0 will work well with it in comparison to the cost of support if it doesn't.

Because that is not a 'proper' version of WM5 it is a pre-release beta.

I don't believe any of the developers have announced that they are going to release a 'proper' version for the Xda either (but I could be wrong )
