I have one iPAQ H3870 and I wonder if I can install WM2005 on it.
If so, where can I find the ROM update and if do not, which is the most updated ROM my H3870 supports ?

Sorry about that. When i heard windows Mobile 2005 came out i bought the hx2410 because of its functionality but mainly because it is upgradable. Must be pretty frustrating

yeah, even if HP made the 38xx series supported, which they wouldn't do for a number of reasons, its 4-year-old hardware wouldn't even run properly. I think that WM5 takes up more ROM space for just the OS than the 38xx series effectively has. And all of the new features would clash dramatically with the 206 mhz ARM...

I just got a 3870 last night and I upgraded it past that HP update already to windows mobile 2003 I found a thread that showed how to do it and it seems to run better on 2k3 than it did on 2k2 i will post a link if i ever manage to get it past that
