I recently posting an article on how to speed up WM5:

Everyone with WM5 should do these changes. They make a VERY noticeable difference. When I first upgraded my Axim to WM5 I was about as happy as most everyone else but after doing these reg changes my Axim is back to being pretty well the same speed as with WM2003, but with the added advantages of WM5.

A lot of people have done these registry changes and they work very well. If you would rather not play around with the registry you can buy Tweaks2k2. The latest version has these changes in it!

can anybody tell me whether applying above settings(Changes to cache) speeds up WM2003SE.

I'm a tad confused here. When I look these up with the registry editor I can't type in whatever I what just scroll through numbers. So am I suppose to replace whatever was originally there with what is in parenthesis?
