I finally got my WM5 rebate CD for my 2755 in the mail (took only about 5months!)

I know, initially, alot of people were having problems with it.

Just wanted to check to see how many people think it's worth changing over to it, and in particular on the 2755.

Any advice is appreciated!

I am a total noob when it comes to PDAs... all I can tell so far is that older PDA programs can cause problems. I am shopping around for some GPS software, w/moving map, turn by turn directions, etc... and I have noticed that many distros don't support WM5 yet. Seems rather clunky to me.

stick with 2003SE. Better utilization of the 128MB RAM and it's also faster.

Sounds like I should hold off installing it just yet.

I'll probably at least wait until a ROM update is available to iron out all the bugs.

PDA Phones such as the O2 Atom have only just resolved their speed problems wiht 2 ROM updates, I presume these similar updates will be required on most wm5 devices to get the full performance.

When will some rom updates be ready ?

Not sure for Pocket PCs. I have only heard about the O2 Atom because that's the pda phone I want.
