After finding it on their website, I just placed an order for the upgrade CD kit to install WM5.0 on an Ipaq hx4700!

The full part number is FA661A#AC3 and is US$39.99. On the website, it is listed as "1-2 week" lead time, but when I asked my sales rep I was told that the release date is April 4th, which is about 3 weeks from today.

To find it on the website, what I did was go to http://www.smb.compaq.com (that is how I usually buy as my company used to be a "Compaq house"), and did a search for "FA661" after checking the "Supplies & Accessories" box under the seach window.

Like I said, I was able to call my sales rep and place the order without any further procrastination.

Note that this is to order an upgrade CD, not the downloadable patch. I presume that the upgradable patch won't appear until 4/4/06, but that's a guess.

Don't know it true or not, HP confirmed that it will release on April 1st, now April 4th. I go ahead and order it now, if it got delay agian, I will be really piss
