reanimation Dell axim x51v

Hello!

Bad ENG, sorry.
My PDA "Dell axim x51v" need to reanimation.
Him restarting to battary change only.
Before, I install some programm and my PDA stopped!
How independent BIOS without ActiveSync to reload ?
It is necessary another thing connect? (CF, SD-card reload)
Prompt my algorithm action, please.

Rus:

OK . . .

I ran (the russian) through an online translator and got this (seems to make more sense):

My handheld computer "сдох" also demands reanimation.
Reacts only to removal of a battery. After inclusion the dark blue screen is visible
(As in виндоусе 8) with inscription DELL and all hangs, on what does not respond.
Only again manipulations with a battery. 8 (((
It has occured after installation of the program - the virtual screen.
How to load system WM5 into a handheld computer without ActiveSync?
With me have remained backup'ы.

Sounds like the "blue screen of death" after battery removal, install and restart.
Also sounds like it happened after installing an application program called "the virtual screen"

Can't offer much help if a hard reset doesn't fix the problem. Maybe leave the battery out for a very long time (say overnight) and try again?

I believe you are also asking how to reflash the OS? You can search this site for this information.

Anyone else have any ideas to help this guy/gal?

Good luck . . .

Sounds like you have just removed the battery to reset the x51v, if there is a bad application causing your problem (virtual screen?), this won't help.

You will need to reset the x51v to factory condition and then reload your applications. To do this you need to hold down the reset button (on the back of the PDA) for at least 2 seconds and then follow the instructions that show up on the screen - WARNING: you will lose all personal data if you do this but it sounds like this is the only likely solution.

glad to hear it is working again. Just wanted to clarify tGrimm's response a little. holding down the reset button on the back will only do a soft reset which will not set it back to the factory settings but will clear most problems. to do a hard reset you have to push the button on the back and the power button at the same time then follow the directions on the screen. Nice job of translating KPDUTY!
