I have a dell axim x51v with wm5
I just install vista corporate but vista doesn't recognize the dell

under vista control panel, device manager, i see under "portable device" a unrecognized "windows device mobile" with message code : "This device cannot start. (Code 10)"

??

About the only thing I currently know about vista is that you have to have downloaded Windows Mobile Device Center.
This is the Vista version of Active Sync and without it your Ax will not be recognised.
If you have this program then I'm sorry, I don't know.

you can get the latest version of
WMDC here , links also further down the page for the 64 bit version. this is an update from the version that came originally with vista.
