How to assign file type to program?

When I click on a .Lit file, it says that it can't be opened because it isn't trusted or one of it's components can't be found. I guess that means that it doesn't know that Microsoft Reader should be opened for a .Lit.

MS Reader is installed.

Also, PDBs don't open uBook.

Can anyone please tell me how to associate the types with the programs? Thanks.

There are applications out there that will do this for you. SKTOOLS provides an option. Or if you feel up to hacking your registry, you can do it yourself.

See HERE for a description of the problem and a suggestion for fixing the problem with MS Reader.
