Worried Please don't die Axim!

OK so the other day I spilled some non-alchoholic malt beverage and it seems a little bit got inside my axim. It worked fine except the digitalizer was messed up meaning that the touchscreen was misbehaving. I put it in front of a fan with all the cards and batteries removed and let it air. The screen eventually (after 3 of the longest most axim-free days of my life) started to work again. I used it for a few days, and now it seems to constantly be out of alignment. What can I do to rescue by axim?

Oops this should be in X50 51v forums. Will a mod please move this?

It sounds like there may be some residue around the edge of the screen. You can try running a business card or a playing card under the edge and see if it clears it. You may have to do the align once you have done this. Also, if you have a screen protector on it it may have curled up causing pressure on the edge of the screen giving you false 'screen taps'. you could try removing that too.
