DialupMaster script help

I'm trying to get my verizon phone to work with my Axim x51v. I need to get a script to work that will force PAP encryption for the dial-up settings...I don't know how to accomplish that...if anyone can help let me know...I had this posted in a phone forum...but i thought PDA users might know better...

Any way to force PAP authentication on PocketPC?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thanks for the help. I got it working with my laptop on my A870, but I want to use it with my Windows Mobile 5 PDA. My understanding from searching around is that the included dialer cannot force PAP. Does anyone know if any third party dailer can do it?

or if there is a way to edit the "dun.vzw3g.com" to "vzw3g.com" in the phone. I tried manually editing the nvm_ss_data file but I can't upload it with either bitpim or QPST. I also tried the Service Programming in QPST, but it doesn't seem to read from the phone.

I would be happy with either solution, I just want to be able to use my PDA with it over bluetooth...thats half the reason I got a phone claiming to have bluetooth DUN.

I also tried qnc, "wrong password", and dialing other ISP's reboots my phone

Anybody have anything to add?

Update:

I've found a program for my PocketPC called DialupMaster...it supposedly lets you run modem scripts...it appears mac users have forced PAP using modem scripts...unfortunately I don't know anything about modem scripts...so if anyone could be any help or could direct me to anyone who might....
