Mobile 5 and WIFI

Just bought a new toy. A smartphone with Windowns Mobile 5. Our university has WIFI on the campus but so far nobody seems to know how to connect my smartphone to it. The one person who did, said it was easy and mentioned the abbreviations VPN, PPTP, L2TP and IPSEC in a single sentence :realmad:. I decided to run fast and not look back.

But how do I connect?

What model smartphone do you have?

Your university WIFI network could be configured several different ways. At the university where I teach, I turn on the WIFI radio on my pocket pc and it connects to the network, but if I open up Internet Explorer, I am taken to a login/password entry page. I have to input my university login & password before I can do anything on the internet. Have you contacted the Network group at your university to find out what you need to do?
