no WM5 upgrade from HP?
Hi all,
lately, i noticed on HP site, that link "Buy Microsoft® Windows Mobile® 5.0 upgrade", leads to non-existent page. Is WM5 dead? is it going to be replaced by WM6 update? is hp site borked? or am i missing something again? (that happens too often lately) | ||||||

I don't think HP is selling the WM5.0 updates any more. If you want to get a WM5.0 update for your device (and assuming it is an IPAQ that is upgradeable to WM5.0), you'll probably need to look on eBay.

I wonder if they'll produce a WM6 upgrade for the hx2495?

Probably not. Every indication is that HP has no plans to provide any WM6.0 upgrades for any of its existing IPAQs. Disappointing...
