I'm trying to browse the net on my aximx51v via my wireless DSL modem/router (Westell model 827W).
Now I know my modem settings are fine and have sharing enabled because I have a laptop connected wirelessly to the same modem which works perfectly when browsing. So it ain't the modem.

My axim detects AND connects to my wireless network every time upon startup via the Dell WLAN utility (Odyssey is disabled, cannot even begin to figure out how to configure that mess)
Initially I had the wrong network key, which resulted in the message - in Opera, btw - 'Could not establish network connection.' Then I entered the correct key and now the message I get is 'Could not connect to proxy server. Access is denied.'
In PIE the message I get is 'The page cannot be displayed or downloaded because the connection was lost. Check the connection and try again later.'
But all the while my axim is telling me it's connected to my network, signal strength is 'Good'.

I should mention that I don't have any browsing problems whatsoever when connected to my PC via Activesync, so it's not my browser settings either.

I have to say this is the sort of BS which makes me want to sell my soul to Apple - why can't this sh-- just work? I fixed one thing, then another problem arises - what do I have to do?

Sigh...nevermind.
After doing my fourth soft-reset, it started working. No reason, nothing that hadn't already been changed was changed. Just reset it again and bingo.
Made two Spb backups (a wonderful program, btw) so hopefully will not have this problem again...
