Where is Today.lnk ?

Hi All!

Anyone know where the Today.lnk (or possibly Today.exe?) is on an WM5 OS?
Reason for me asking: I recently switched to an Axim X51v from an Axim X5.
I have had tdLaunch installed on both devices, the 51 running wm5 and the X5 running WM2003(not se). I used to flip items on my today screen frequently and found it handy to have a Today link icon on the screen on the X5. Never found Today.exe (if there even is something like that) so I selected the Today.lnk in Windows/Shortcuts/Main. Now that I have the X51v, I'd like to set up similarly, but I can't find any reference or link to the Today program - Anyone know where I'd find it???

Thanks!

Most of the Control Panel Applets can be invoked via CPLMAIN. Personally, I use SBSH iLauncher as it's easier. If you search awhile on the 'net you'll probably find the CPL APPLET for WM5 TODAY if you wish to create your own shortcut.

See also this for a screen print of an iLauncher tab that contains a shortcut to Today.

OK, that worked - creating a shortcut that is....
....But I lose the icon that was in wm2003

Is there anything that would allow for the copy or creation of an icon for the today.lnk - and if so, how does one go about attaching it to the shortcut link?

Thanks!

Again, I use SBSH iLauncher for this.

You say iLauncher is "easier" - obviously, you are infering it is easier to link to the Today configuration utility - correct? Is there an icon that is used or that can be placed on the Today screen to link to the utility? I am unfamiliar with iLaunch....

Thanks!

BTW - stopped by your site - great advice and information! Hope you're feeling better....

Thanks, I am doing better. Next periodic checkup at the end of the month.

You might read this for more info on the options for shortcuts to the control panel applets.

AKAJD -

Good luck with the check up!

Thanks, I had read Menneisyys's article and am using a similarly created link.
The link works, I just want to assign an icon to it, either from a file or one I create. Haven't seen anything about being able to customize icons (yet....)
