Rearranging start menu shortcut icons?

On all prior ipaqs and operating systems, I would arrange the startup icons in folders with only a single page of commonly used programs on the main programs start menu.

On the 2790, with windows mobile 5, it seems windows puts shortcut icons on the programs start menu folder that are not easily movible since they do not seem to be located in this folder.

Has anyone found a way to move them?

Also, I prefer the old windows start menu, where you had more spots for program launches, as opposed to the windows mobile 5 only allowing 7 programs and taking the rest of the space for recently launched program. Is there any way around this?

I guess you can use one or two of your 7 spots to include folder that will have more shortcuts, but again I am faced with the issue that I cannot move the windows related programs.....

any thoughts?

Did you try to unselect all the programs in the Menus setting?
