I was dissapointed with the fact that it didn't support USB2.0 and that the "Cardexport" feature was not there. These were the main reasons I bought the upgrade. Since it would cost as much as a good USB2.0 multi card reader I figured I would go with WM5 and get that additional software upgrades as well. Needless to say I ended up downgrading and buying a card reader that I carry in my pocket. The other reason I downgraded was the horrible performance (yes, I know about persistant store

). XCPUScalar wouldn't work on it so I couldn't bump up the speed (I have a hx2415). AND despite the directdraw ehancements, my movies played with TCPMP were choppy in WM5 even off of my fast SD card which played back fine in WM2003SE. Go figure! I like some of the features but it still needs work. Oh, and soft rests take longer start than a diesel engine in the arctic. So, a short list of reasons to downgrade:
1. No USB2.0
2. No USB Mass Storage Device exporting support
3. Really Slow
4. Some software won't work
5. Activesync 4.0 is a bummer
6. Friggin soft menu!!
I'm not saying that WM5 is entirely bad, just that it was not what I expected. I'm dissapointed and I feel like I wasted $40 on worthless software.:realmad:
