A Questions of Contacts

Greetings All,

I'm using an iPAQ rx1955 with WM5 and Outlook 2002.

When looking at a list of contacts on the device, is there a way to designate what shows up in that list?

I'm surely missing something somewhere. I can't seem to make any rhyme or reason out of what's being displayed. In some cases it's a mobile phone, other times an e-mail address, sometimes home numbers. I'd like to be able to designate which number shows up. I looked for options in Outlook as well but did not see anything.

Thanks for any help you're able to offer.

I don't think you can set a default in Pocket Outlook/Contacts on the PPC. I've been using PocketInformant for so long, I've forgotten. Using third party apps like AgendaFusion and PocketInformant you can set a default. There may be some free programs out there but I am not familiar with them.

I am sure there was a way to set the default contact method for a contact in the built in Contacts.
I also have been using Pocket Informant so long I don't remember the steps in the built in Contacts.

You may have to specify it in Outlook on the PC.

Well for all that I don't know about PPC, I've been an Exchange administrator for years, and am very familiar with Outlook, and I haven't been able to find it. I know on the Palm, I had to specify a default contact number there. Perhaps I just need to move to Pocket Informant...
