WM5 updates ?

Are there any new updates for WM5 ? I am still on ROM 1.00.00
How about any other add on freeware that improves overall funcionality ?

As far as I know, there aren't any new updates. The only improvement that I'm aware of is by tweaking the registry to increase the PPC's performance. I'd be interested in knowing new updates too.

What type of tweaking are you talking about ? Is it complicated ?

Ya, you just have to modify 3 registry keys

so go to:
[HKLM\System\StorageManager\FATFS] CacheSize = 4096
[HKLM\System\StorageManager\FATFS] EnableCache = 1
[HKLM\System\StorageManager\Filters\fsreplxfilt] ReplStoreCacheSize = 4096

and change their values to the ones shown above :)

Well i pretty much explained it in the steps above, basically just install PHM registry editor, then just go to the registry keys I mentioned above and change their decimal value to the one that is mentioned above. If you are really PPC illiterate, I strongly recommend you don't do it yourself as you might cause some damage. I recommend getting Tweaks2k2, or even just try it out (you have 3 uses, just make sure you do all the things you want then you wont have to use it for a while).
