Where did the Windows folder go ?

I used to be able to access the Windows folder on 2003SE while plugged into (Activesync) my PC. With Wm5 there isn't a Windows folder when using the PC access to my device. When I use the 4700 file explorer the Windows folder is available. Why isn't it available when accessing the PPC through the PC ?

It's because the Windows folder is hidden. You can make it visible by opening the "Mobile Device" window and do the following:
Tools >> Folder Options >> View Tab >> under "Hidden files and folders" check "Show hidden files and folders" :)

Thanks for the information. I thought that this was another Wm5 problem as if it needed more. I wonder why Wm5 started out this way and PPC2002 and 2003SE didn't ?

From a developer's point of view, the enduser doesn't need to access the Windows folder so why bother confusing more with more folders. :)

I'm not on WM5, but does the end user not still need to access Windows to move/organize program .exe's into various personal folders.

Shortcuts: yes, since the shortcuts are still located in \Windows\Start Menu\
Program exe: no, since the programs are installed in \Programs Files

I finally got a chance to fix my Windows on the PC so I can access them from my PPC. It is slooooow. Evertime I move from folder to folder, the "sweeping flashlight" shows up on my PC.
