Create new soft button

I missed the feature in WM2003SE Today's screen .. there was a quick soft key which allows us to create new note, calendar entry etc .. in WM5, this has been replaced with "Calendar" soft button .. is there any way that I could change this behaviour back to the WM2003SE way?
