PDA Saving Memory

Why is it that when one develops a program for a PDA you are always worrying about freeing up memory, and yet when you close the program it is still running.

Why do you have to go the Settings/Memory, and forceably kill the application to free up memory.

If we had to do this on a Desktop system, with programs that are complete memory hogs the PC as we know it would be completely unusable!!!

If you install WisBar Advance2, it will offer you the option of actually closing the program when you close it (and WinMobile actually just minimizes it).

Click on "myPDA" below to get it's URL, as well as other helpful programs...

It's because the PPC is designed to have "instant access".
