Phone to Laptop direct wifi sync?

Hi - I have the HTC Artemis (WIFI) and a laptop (WIFI)

Does anyone know how I can use Active Sync to synchronise my phone and laptop calendar directly using the wifi? Im not able to use my office's exchange or similar from my pda but want it to go direct to my laptop wirelessly.

Is this possible?

With WM5.0 and ActiveSync 4.x, syncing via WIFI connection is no longer achievable. Due to security concerns, Microsoft permanently disabled this capability. If your laptop is Bluetooth enabled, you can sync via Bluetooth connection.

All you need to do is get a USB Bluetooth dongle for your computer. They are pretty cheap.

Okay, then you are out of luck then. There is no other way to sync via WIFI connection. As I mentioned earlier, Microsoft disabled this capability due to so called security concerns.
