Just to clarify here, I did not install CE 5.0 on my Axim. It wasn't what I hoped it would be, although I'm not looking at it from the viewpoint of a wearable computer. One of the things that was a big turn on for me with the X50v was the 2700G chipset, which has two outputs.

However, from what I've seen, the second display will only mirror the primary display. At least with the configuration from Dell. What I would like is to use my Axim as a low power wearable, perhaps as a mobile thin client to a remote desktop or citrix environment.

This is quite aways off however, so don't bother holding your breath to see how it went.

As far as installing it on a jornada goes, I would imagine it's possible, as the platform builder had a HUGE amount of support in there for various platforms. I was very impressed by the amount of hardware support in there, however I don't expect to see the confusion that we had with the first couple of generations of CE devices where you had to know if you had an SH3 or MIPS device.

I don't believe that's true - the two displays are independently programmable (one via the CPU and the other via the GPU).
