I am sure the WM 2005 MSFT gave to their Mobility MVPs runs in a emulator.
I don't think that is correct since WM5 CD came with my x50v for free. i have not touched yet untill I'm confident my apps will work on it or untill all my apps have a patch or something. I believe you can buy the cd from Dell. I do not know if it requires an Axim or what, but it should work on all axims or at least any xscale platform.

The only reason I still have my home PC is to sync my PDA. Otherwise what good is it for? I give it 10 years at most and the home PC will be replaced with the Pocket PC.

Yeah i have it on cd-rom straight from dell. I think about installing it all the time but then I get scared. Granted I've only had it for a few weeks now but still.

*EDIT* I thought a cd that was sent to me with my X50v was the WM5, I was mistaken. It will be automatically shipped to me in October when it is released from MS. My bad!
